College Access Academy at Drexel

Applying to colleges is both an exciting and overwhelming time for high school students and their families — this is especially true for minority and first-generation college students. To help prepare them for everything that lies ahead, we invite your interested students to join us for the College Access Academy at Drexel beginning on Monday, July 19, 2021 and continuing through Friday, July 23, 2021.

Presented by the Center for Inclusive Education and Scholarship in the Division of Enrollment Management & Student Success, the College Access Academy at Drexel is a one-week, virtual program focused on assisting prospective college students through the college selection and admissions processes. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in a full week filled with interactive workshops and skill development sessions that will cover such topics as college and major selection, SAT preparation, essay writing, financing a college education, and more — along with a wide variety of fun social activities and opportunities to connect with fellow students.

Space is limited, but all rising high school juniors and seniors from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and New York who identify as an underrepresented student of color or a first-generation college student are invited to apply. This virtual program is offered at no cost to all selected participants.
