The Office of Academic Supports is proud to announce the Our Class Our Future “Class of 2021” Scholarship application is now open! We are excited to offer scholarship opportunities to 39 deserving scholars (we have added 3 new scholarships). Please encourage all of your senior students to apply! Winners will be announced during the virtual show on May 19, 2021. *Please note that there are scholarship opportunities in 12 postsecondary categories and there are only a few scholarships that have a GPA requirement.
Instructions:
Complete the OCOF scholarship application form and upload the following items by April 21, 2021. (If you can not upload your documents in the application form, you may email them to OurClassOurFuture@philasd.org)
- Submit a 500 word essay answering the following question: “How will my future career impact my community?”
- Letter of Recommendation (letter can come from an employer, mentor, teacher, counselor, or someone who can speak to your character).
- Provide a copy of your unofficial transcript with current grades
- Copy of your official acceptance letter and/or job offer letter
- A picture of yourself. Must be a selfie or head shot. We will use this to announce the winners (if you are selected).
Winners will be announced during the OCOF Virtual Event on May 19, 2021.
